FAQ

Who do I contact for a maintenance request?

If you have a light out, a loose knob, or any non-emergency maintenance request, you may e-mail your housing coordinator, call our office at 601-981-7368, or you may click here to fill out a maintenance request form. A member of our staff will be in contact with you within 24 working hours to fulfill your request.

In the event of a maintenance emergency (ex: water leak, no heat/air conditioning, broken glass/door posing a security threat, etc) please contact the emergency maintenance number for your respective community or contact our on-call staff member at 601-594-6349 by voice or text and we’ll respond to your emergency immediately.

How much notice do I need to provide to move out?

Corporate Housing Experts requires a minimum 30-day notice to vacate. However, some communities request a 60-day notice. If your apartment community requires a longer notice to vacate, your housing coordinator will have informed you of this information during the leasing process.

You may fill out a notice to vacate form here.

Is maid service available?

Definitely! We have a team of trusted housekeepers who can keep your corporate apartment looking spick-and-span. Rates vary based on how many bedrooms you have and how often you’d like the service. Please contact our office for more information.

Can I stay in my apartment a little longer?

Sure! More than likely, your apartment will be available for you to extend your stay. You do not need to stay another full month. Just inform our staff of how much extra time you need and we’ll take care of the rest.

Can I upgrade my cable/internet package?

Of course! All of our corporate apartments come with expanded cable packages and high-speed Internet, but if you require something more, please contact our staff. We can get you the best possible rate on package upgrades and can include the additional cost in your monthly invoice.

After move out, when will my deposit(s) to be refunded?

After you move out of your corporate apartment, we will wait on final bills from all utility providers and perform a walk-through inspection of your apartment to identify any damages. After these items have been satisfied, we will return your security deposit the way that it was originally paid (via credit/debit card or company check). This process usually takes about 30 days; however, it may take longer when waiting on final bills to arrive. If you have not received your security deposit back after one month has passed, please contact our office.

What is corporate housing?

Corporate housing is a temporary housing alternative to staying in a traditional or extended-stay hotel. Compared to a hotel, corporate housing offers more spacious accommodations, full customer service, and excellent amenities and generally just feels more like “home.” Corporate housing providers create temporary-housing solutions within a stable residential setting unlike extended-stay hotels, which are surrounded by an open parking lot and filled entirely with transient guests. A typical lease term for a corporate housing suite is at least one month.

In a corporate housing suite, you can expect quality furniture and housewares to make your short term stay as comfortable as possible. All utilities, including cable and Internet are rolled into one monthly charge that makes expense-reporting simple. Compared to an extended-stay hotel, corporate housing can save a company thousands of dollars and offers a more pleasant and positive stay for guests. Get more information on corporate lodging.

Is corporate lodging the same thing as corporate housing?

Yes, corporate lodgings and corporate housing are considered the same and offer many attractive features as compared to hotel suites and extended stay lodgings. Get more information on corporate housing versus extended stay and hotel suites.

What is the minimum stay length?

Corporate Housing Experts offers a 30-day minimum stay in many of our corporate apartments, though availability does vary. When a 30-day stay isn’t available, a 90-day minimum stay may be required.

May I lease on a month-to-month basis?

Absolutely! When leasing with Corporate Housing Experts, all that is required is a 30-day minimum stay. Until we receive a 30-day notice to vacate from you, your lease will continue on a month-to-month basis. This allows flexibility for your stay to be as long or as short as you’d like.

Do you require a security deposit?

In most cases, a security deposit is required; however, it is fully refundable at the end of your lease. Your deposit will be refunded if your corporate apartment has been left in good condition and there are no additional unpaid charges.

Can I bring my pet?

Of course! Most of our communities are pet friendly. However, many properties have restrictions on breed, size, and a maximum number of pets permitted, so please ask us for specifics. Pet fees and deposits will vary based on property, pet type, size, and quantity.

How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

We recommend making your reservation with our team as soon as you know your move-in date.

What is Your Payment Policy?

All individuals must pay by credit or debit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. If the lease is in the name of a corporation, the company may pay by credit or debit card or by a company check.
